that`s a good gun and as for a mod,a sak will be just fine.
as for ammo, that`s a different story.
you`ll have to see what performs best in the gun you get.
with mine it`s hornady,it hates remmington.

The gun should be a good un, won't shoot any better than a CZ or many others though- the limiting factor is the ammo preference which is a case of suck it and see

cracking gun fun well made and very accurate only fault is the safety don't lock the bolt and its easy to knock open when slung, i would go for a cz and do yourself a thumbhole stock as for mod i use a dm80 that looks the part but to be honest nothing will take away the sonic crack so it don't realy mater that much as most do a reasonable job at the muzzle i zero at about 35 yards which is right at 100 and as for ammo thats seems to be trial and error

depends what your uses are..show or use.

if you want a wall hanger, or for show get a Blaser R93 !! if you want use , stay with Anch or Cz , with a little tweek , either will knock spots off guns x4 as much !

I have heard people complain about the triggers on the Anchults, personally i feel triggers get blamed for poor shooting rather than triggers actually creating bad shooting. A field trigger is not the same as a benchrest trigger and paper indoors 5 shot groups shot from a bench are meaningless on a cold, wet windy night when you only have the one shot standing in the mud with wellies on- reality strikes
If you like a looker rather than an out and out vermin getter, have a look at Cooper / Kimber? can't remember which

I want a bit of both to say nice bit of wood and a gun that does the buisness so if I miss it was me and not the gun.

Save some money and get a CZ the extra cash will pay towards a mod extra.

Saw the Annie in the flesh yesterday, at first I thought it was a CZ.
Just shows how much I know.
The bolt looks a little wierd compared to my CZ as well.
Nice Bushnell 50mm 6500 on top.
Had a try with the trigger, much much better than a std CZ.
Next time I see it Nick will have the chance to see what he's missed out on by not getting a cheaper CZ.
Come on, tell them all about the grin factor.

Hi Guys, i know its not a hmr has the tread is about, this is my 1417 and i also have a cz varmint, i don't want to get into a discussion about the two rifles because the cz is a good rifle when the trigger is sorted, but to me the annie is a rifle that i'll never sell, its a dm80 mod with a 6500 scope,

garry
